Think back on all the activities we have done in the Fish Friends Unit: setting up our tank; taking care of the tank; releasing the salmon; the Atlantic Salmon Project; The Bangor Daily News Project; our field trip to Mountain Springs Trout Farm; and the presentations we made to other classes from Early Childhood to grade 11. 1. What was your favorite part of this unit and why?
Going to the Fish Farm was fun because we got to see a whole lot of fish that go through the same thing as our salmon do.

Salmon are very strong and determined fish.

I would like to have practiced more for the slide shows so I wouldn't have been so nervous.

I would go back to the old tank because this one was too small and warm.

I would choose to have partners for the Atlantic Salmon Project instead of groups because they work better together.

6. What is one thing you would keep in this unit and why?
I would continue going to Mountain Springs Trout Farm because it was interesting and fun!

I think you should keep the Fish Friends Program going because it was a great experience for me and I think it would be for future fourth graders.
