On Monday, May 20, Children’s Stage Adventure founders/actor/educators, Rob and Lorrie Gray,
auditioned and cast approximately 75 students, from the fourth and fifth grade for the production
Androcles and the Lion. In just five days all the songs, lines, dances and staging are learned.
The public performance of the final production takes place on Friday, May 24 at 6:00.
Mrs. Missy Morneault was in charge of getting this group to come to Madawaska. Mrs. Morneault
wanted to bring Children’s Stage to Madawaska because “we live in an area far away from a performing
arts center” and she thought it would be fun for the students to have a theatre experience.
