Maine 4-H GIS Camp
These video clips show highlights from the 2007 Maine 4-H GIS Camp on Vaughn Island off of Cape Porpoise Maine. At the camp the youth used geospatial technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and GPS (Global Positioning Systems) to create a map of Vaughn Island that included trails, geographic features, camp sites, tide lines, vegetation and poison ivy locations. With these video clips youth share their camp experiences and what they learned at GIS Camp.
