4-H Lego Robotics Expo
Video Clips by Fast Track Video

These video clips show highlights from the 2008 Washington County Robotics Expo. The second annual Robotics Expo was held on Saturday, March 29th at the Elm Street School in East Machias. There were over 40 students representing nine different schools in attendance. Students spent the morning showing off their robotic and non-robotic creations to judges and the public. Students participated in a skill-a-thon in which they were presented with challenging, non-competitive hands on robotic activities. Awards were given to the Calais Middle School for Best Robot Design; The EdGE Program for Best Non-Robot Design; Charlotte Elementary School for Best Overall Project; and to Machias Valley Christian Schools for Best Teamwork. The event is sponsored by the Perloff Family Foundation, University of Maine Cooperative Extension, Pine Tree State 4-H Foundation and organized by Tom Bickford from Maine Robotics.
